Office Concept
A prototype design for an office to incentivise the return to in-person working. Working remotely, I’ve certainly found, has brought about an increased need to bring people back together to work and create in-person. A study has recently found that 70% of workers feel more creative and 90% feel more confident whilst co-working.
Activity-based working layouts are crucial to allow people to engage in different ways of working; if an office forces people to stay at their desk, the result will be poor ideas and weak social interactions. The Office Concept layout provides space for work that’s quiet and concentrated, collaborative, or in larger groups.
The calm, natural material palette of teak panels, marble and bespoke ceramic tiles creates a memorable experience that is in stark contrast with the average home office. Furniture by Karimoku Case Study.
